“I first met with Karissa at Rhino a couple of years ago when I first considered selling my house and I didn’t want to pay the
crazy fees that traditional brokerages were charging, but the market was flat and I wasn’t really sure at that time if I really
wanted to sell. Based on the info that Karissa gave me, I decided to wait. During that time til present, Karissa kept me in
the loop with regular market updates and was happy to answer any queries I had about the market.
When the market picked up I decided it was time to list. Karissa was with me every step of the way offering advice and providing
the same services that a traditional brokerage would offer at a fraction of the cost. I especially liked that I had several options
of selling packages I was able to choose from, choosing one that worked best for my financial situation, and that she suggested
a flat fee for the buying realtor which was much less than I would have traditionally paid and it was accepted by the buying
realtor with no kickback.
My neighbour sold a couple of weeks before I did for 7500$ less than me and paid almost double in realtor fees than I did using
a traditional brokerage. All of the traditional brokerage agents that I spoke to “warned” me that other realtors would not promote
my property with the offer of a flat fee to the buying agent and not the traditional fee schedule, but I had 14 showings and 4 offers
in three days. Realistically, in this digital age, most buyers are looking at MLS and finding the properties they are interested in and
asking their realtors to arrange a viewing regardless of wether their realtor would promote that particular property or not.
I received the same service at a fraction of the cost, saving me literally thousands in realtor fees.
